Seamless experience
Contrary to all of the recent negative press about airports and their staff, our experience flying and coming back in was seamless. Given the pressure that all airport staff are under, they are doing an amazing job and are doing it with a smile. We travelled down to Newcastle from Scotland and stayed in the Premier Inn the night before. I would have no hesitation in using this airport again. Well done to all of the staff.

No issues at all
We flew with Jet2.com, everything was fast and efficient. We used the fast track security, literally took us less than 2 minutes to get through, no queue at all. No problems with baggage. Yes the airport was very busy, but what can you expect at this time of year.
On return, Jet2.com messaged me to say that there may be a delay on baggage, ended up being max 10 min delay. But if I hadn't received the message, I would not have noticed there were any issues.
We then went to get our car from the long stay car park, pressed the button to start the car and the battery was dead! Daughter left the interior light on in the back. Within 20 min, the airport had someone round with a jump pack and had us going on our way home.
Car parking query super fast response … sorted.
I was checking my car parking details for a flight less than 24 hours away and found i had made a minor mistake on my registration details. The call centre is closed so used their email address as given.
They responded in less than 5 minutes and have updated my details. thats super fast customer service thanks to Jonathan… kudos to him.
Even more impressive as I had booked via a 3rd party.

Dropped my daughter off this morning
Dropped my daughter off this morning , was there less than 3 minutes at a cosy of 4 pound . Absolutely shocking charges , I understand businesses have to make money but this is a rip off , .
They keep going on about how important it is for people to use the airport , we'll it's also important not to rip your customer off with disgraceful parking charges .
I wonder where the saying comes from RIP OFF BRITON , think it starts from this airport charge
Newcastle shambles… embarrassing
At airport now. Departure lounge is utter disgrace. Not a seat to be had not even in bars and tatty restaurants where you get ripped off for bad service and bland mass produced snacks/food
No ‘free’ Wi-Fi available £4 to drop off bags for literally 1 minute in car park. The list goes on and on. Embarrassed to be a Geordie and this is my airport!!
Come on Newcastle GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!

Rubbish organisation
Rubbish organisation. Poor co ordination between ground staff and aircrafts. This is our second trip in last 3 months where plane has not been loaded properly and second time passengers not counted in properly which led to wait in the plane, missing the fly out slot and air traffic control further delay due to air space non availability. KLM flight 1st July. 9.35 am due departure.
Rubbish airport. Who is running this. Is there no accountability. Such incompetence!!!

What a shambles this airport is!
Touched down today at 17:41 and still no bags at 18:44 and our flight is the only one here.
The baggage claim announced that she had radioed to find out delay and was told the bags are off the plane they are waiting for staff to move them.
You couldn't write it, what would it be like if they were busy!!!!!!

No information.
Newcastle airport should put its efforts into providing a service to passengers rather than over charging for parking.
Terrible service.
Where were the management.

Beware of Security Staff - Thieves
Disgusting staff who are rude and offensive. Passing through security middle aged blonde woman said my aftershave was illegal and she kept it. I bought it in Boots and it was a normal aftershave. When I asked for an explanation why she was keeping a legitimate product she exploded. Very inappropriate and unprofessional. Will check in luggage on future flights to avoid amateur and fraudulent security staff.

found out newcastle airport phone number premium rate so 3 calls cost me £11 plus vat, all the money i spend in there and extra hidden costs

Car parking is a disgrace
Car parking is a disgrace - £4.00 to drop someone off for literally 1 minute. Advertising free parking for first 15 minutes but only if you travel to Short Stay 2 which is not made clear. This place has gone downhill for years with every opportunity taken to grab more of your money.

Grateful To fly from Newcastle
I travelled twice recently through Newcastle Airport To Corfu on the 23rd - 30th May and Zadar from 5th - 8th June. On each occasion the processes have been quick and efficient and the personnel very polite and pleasant. Given the horror stories being experienced by other airports I was amazed at how easy it all was.
Always taking the ‘p’ is this place
Always taking the ‘p’ is this place. Why , why, why do Newcastle Airport need to rob its visitors £4 to simply drop off passengers. I dropped my son off this morning in the drop off zone and was relieved of £4 to immediately get the barrier raised. A 30 second visit. Take a good luck at yourselves.
